Donations to the RCA Observing Site Fund

The Rose City Astronomers are pursuing a dream to own an observing site.  Our vision is:

Securing and managing a variety of observing sites for private use by members, and for community outreach and special events organized by the RCA

We are currently engaged in a capital fundraising campaign to raise money to secure one or more observing sites for our Club to use for public events, and members to use whenever they desire. Dubbed the M-110 Campaign - our goal is $110,000.  Visit this link for more information on the Observing Site Project

The RCA was qualified by the IRS on May 31, 2000, as a civic-improvement association entitled to exemption from federal income tax under the provision of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, donors may deduct contributions to the RCA from federal income taxes as provided in section 170 of the Code.
